Saturday July 28, 9 a.m. - 3p.m. Sunday July 29th, 10 a.m - 2 p.m Welcome to the 9th Annual Summer Wade Fest! The weekend of activities started on Friday evening, where the Ice Cream Social was held, the room quickly filled with collectors all chatting and enjoying the ice cream along with a fun quiz, all about the number 9, as it is the 9th Annual Wade Fest! Saturday morning, the doors to the show opened at 9am, and collectors quickly came into find some missing pieces to their collections. The Show specials, the Standing rabbits, along with the Tennie Terrier were a real hit with collectors, each making their way all over the world. Collectors came from all over the US, Canada and England for this fun event. The Silent Auction raised over $3,000 dollars for Parkinsons, and at the banquet Mike Posgay (co-author of The World of Wade books) read out a fun Wade quiz to all, the lucky team won some great Wade prizes. Then a fun game of bingo followed, but be warned, next year we will play English bingo!!! The event was as much fun as always, and collectors made their way home, packing their new purchases into their cars and cases, but all making plans to come back again next year, especially at it is the 10th anniversary of the show, so it will be a special event!
