Stoke-on-Trent was certainly the place to be the weekend of the 22nd/23rd April.

We had a busy time at the Holiday Inn, where an evening of entertainment was had by all, including prizes, raffles, a quiz on Wade, which got everyone thinking, and delicious buffet and a good old game of bingo!

Sunday morning was an early start for the UK’s top dealers, all arriving early to set up their stalls ready for the 10 o’clock opening.

By the time the doors opened, the queue was snaking round and everyone was eager to get in, to have a good look around.

The show specials, Cocktail Felix and the Tetley special, Sydney and Maurice in gold were a sell out within an hour, and lots of collectors went home happy. We did have a few disappointed collectors who just missed out on the specials – Sorry!

By the end of the day, cars were loaded and purchases being safely stored to make their journeys home.

We hope everyone who visited us on the day enjoyed themselves, and we look forward to seeing as many of you as we can in Arundel in July, the next Wade event on the calendar!
