The Wade Summer Fest once again took place at the Radisson Hotel, Camp Hill, in Harrisburg and, as always, it was a fun and enjoyable show to be a part of.

The dealers were busy setting up on Friday, making sure that their stands were all ready for the collectors the next morning.

Friday evening the Ice Cream social took place, where collectors could come along and talk about their collections, whilst taking part in a fun game!

Saturday morning the doors to the show opened at 9am and the room quickly filled with eager collectors all wanting to find the missing pieces to their collections.

The show specials, the Parrot set of 3 limited edition Whimsies were a great hit with the collectors, so was the Betty Boop Fantasy Whimsie from C&S. A brisk trade was reported throughout the day by all the dealers.

Saturday after the show the hospitality evening took place, where we had some interactive games, along with a lovely buffet, a fun Wade quiz and a game of English Bingo! A great time was had by all, especially trying to understand the bingo!

Sunday morning, the show opened at 10am and along with the dealers were some sell and swap tables, where collectors could come along and trade their Wade!

The bran draw was, as every, extremely popular and it even resulted in the tub being emptied to find the last winning tickets! Some fantastic prizes were won and our collectors went home very happy!

All in all the show was very busy and great fun!
