Wade Summer Fest Review

The 10th Summer Wade Fest was as always a fantastic weekend to be part of. Preparations had been taking place for months prior to the show, with the show specials being shipped over from the UK to be there in time for the event!

The Club show specials, the 'Happy Cat's' were a real bit hit with our collectors and the edition sold out at the show, along with the few sets we kept back for collectors who were unable to attend! You certainly do like your whimsies!

Keenan Antiques had a very cute leprechaun figurine ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ in a limited edition of 250 pieces, which looked fabulous and went home with nearly everyone who attended!

The weekend of fun started on Friday evening, where the usual Meet & Greet hospitality took place, a fun competition took place where collectors had to match pictures of some of the dealers and their pets, it was interesting to see the guesses that went on! Everyone was treated to a slice of the special cake that was made to celebrate the 10th show!

Saturday morning the show opened and we quickly had a room full of collectors all looking for pieces to add to their collection and buying the show specials! The bran tub was as popular as ever with some fantastic prizes being won for just $1!

Saturday night was the hospitality night where collectors met to have an evening of entertainment, including fun games, a silent auction a Wade quiz and of course, bingo! All of which the lucky winners won some great Wade prizes!

Sunday morning the doors to the show opened again and the swap and sell tables were ready for business with some real deals being done!

The bran tub was busy again Sunday, so busy in fact that we ran out of whimsies!

The doors to the show closed at 2pm and collectors were going home loaded with new pieces for their collections.
