Wade Summer Fest, 26th / 27th July 2008 Camp Hill, Harrisburg, PA, USA 2008 will be a special year for the Wade Summer Fest, as we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary! The organisers of the show, Keenan Antiques have a lot of celebrations planned and we will, of course, have the hourly prize draws taking place over the weekend where some fantastic prizes can be won. As always the fun starts on Friday evening with the informal get together, make your own ice cream sundae evening, where you can come and meet fellow Wade collectors, many of which have travelled hundreds of miles to attend the show and chat about Wade and your collections. Saturday morning the doors open at 9am and there will be some great show pieces available. From the club there will be the first set of 3 ‘Happy Cat’ whimsies, these will be a limited edition of 100 sets. (We will keep a few sets back for anyone unable to attend the show allocated on a draw basis, to enter just send your name and membership number to the club). Keenan Antiques will have a very cute leprechaun figurine ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ in a limited edition of 250 pieces. There will be a few other new pieces at the show, these include a special Betty Boop whimsie from C&S Collectables, a new leprechaun figure from Happy Wade-ing and a Canadian Moose from Wade in Canada! As always there will be a package deal on offer which includes all the hospitality events taking place.
