The Wade Christmas Bonanza is always a very fun and festive event, and this year was no exception. Although the weather was bitterly cold, it didn't deter our avid collectors from making the journey to Arundel to visit us for the event. Saturday morning, collectors starting arriving early for the show and kept warm with the tea/coffee and breakfast baps that were available. By the time 10am came everyone was ready to get inside for a bit of warmth! The doors opened and people quickly made their purchases of the show specials, the Silver Hat Snowmen, the Tetley Christmastime Gaffer with gold detail, and the Betty Boop Christmas Princess. Also launched on the day were a limited number of special crackers each containing Snowmen with Gold hats, which are a limited edition of just 50 sets! The pink and yellow mice whimsies were a real hit with collectors not lucky enough to be within the first 50 (who received one free), buying them to add to their family of mice (don't forget to get the pearlised mouse you need to write a letter and have it published in the club magazine!) Our bran tub was just as popular as ever, with all the prizes being won on the day, including the One of a Kind Felix Starstruck (with a green moon!) the lucky winner was John Golding. My the time mid-day came it everyone was gathering for the collector of the year awards and the save and win draw, this year wasn't quite as close as last year, here are the lucky winners:- 1st prize James Harris..................................................................2nd prize John Golding

The winners of the Collector of the Year awards drew the winners of the Save and Win draw and they were Mr Richard Tomlin........... Mrs Saxton............... Susan Hewitt. who each won a Gold Top Hat Felix.
