Well, the new venue in Aylesbury was certainly a hit with the visitors to the show held on Sunday 2nd October!
The Quarrendon & Meadowcroft Community Ctr proved to be a great host for the Wade Fair, we had most of the top Wade dealers exhibiting at the show and a good day was had by all.
The day got off to a brisk start with collectors who were queuing quickly making their way into the hall and making purchases, including the show specials Lord Henry and the gold/silver meerkat & cub!
The bran tub was, as ever, extremely popular and once again all the prizes were won, with the lucky winner of our star prize, a gold colourway Lord Henry being Mr Newman.
The door prize draw winners were
Mrs Meacham – gold colourway Lord Henry pig.
Helen Davies – gold meerkat & cub
Kate Newman – silver meerkat & cub
The specials at the show were our new Lord Henry! A limited edition of just 75 pieces in his green jacket. We will also had a the meerkat and cub in gold and silver colours

Dear Jenny
I would like to tell you about my favourite Wade day.On the way home to Cheshire from my sons house in Surrey hubby turned of the motorway, when i asked why he said wait and see. What a surprise i had when we ended up in Aylesbury at the Wade fair after looking around the stalls and buying a few things i headed for the bran tub and won Felix Clarinet, i was so pleased.
We then waited for the draws and guess what joy of joys i won first prize on the door draw, a lovely GOLD LORD HENRY. he now has pride of place in my Wade collection. All i can say now is roll on the next Wade fair. Thanks again for giving me such a great hobby
